This or That TAG

hey everyone! So I saw this tag on Juicystar's channel on YouTube and I thought it looked pretty interesting and fun so here goes! I tag all of you to do this too!

MAKEUP:
~blush or bronzer
Well, I don't wear either of these items on an everyday basis, but I guess if I had to choose I'd go with blush since I wear that more than bronzer.

~lip gloss or lipstick
Lip gloss, for sure. I actually just prefer wearing a nice lip tint or chapstick everyday but when I dress up I'll add some nice lipgloss. Also, lipstick tends to dry out my lips a lot so I stay away from that.

~eye liner or mascara
Eye liner all the way! I wear eye liner almost everyday and that's just what I like better. Usually I won't have time for the whole eyelash-curling-mascara-applying-then-drying process so I go with eyeliner since its way simpler and quicker.

~foundation or concealer
   I don't wear either.

~neutral or color eye shadow

Neutral. I always go for the natural eye look, gravitating towards more champagne and tans; that is, on the occasions I wear eyeliner. Sometimes, I'll wear a tiny bit of gold on my upper lid and inner corners on special occasions.

NAILS:
~OPI or china glaze
I honestly have no prefernce of nail polish brands.

~Long or short

My nails grow so quickly so they are usually long but I prefer more of a medium length.

~Acrylic or natural

   Natural all the way!

~Brights or darks

It really depends on the season. During the spring/summer days, you'll find me with bright or pastel colors or even just nothing on my nails, since I tend to get lazier in the summer days. And during fall/ winter, I'm most likely sporting dark colors.

~Flower or no flower

I wear flowers in my hair, not on my nails... ;)

BODY:

~perfume or body splash
Erm, perfume I think. Only cause my favorite scents I wear are both perfumes.

~lotion or body butter

This is a difficult decision. I use both equally and l;ove them both! But I guess body butters are best for my skin type.

~body wash or soap

Body Wash! I don't get how people can use soap for their bodies.

~lush or other bath company

LUSH!!! That place is the bomb.com :)
FASHION:
jeans or sweat pants
Uhm, I like wearing leggings as pants... They're far more comfortable than jeans or sweatpants.

long sleeve of short

I prefer short sleeves, but it really depends on the weather. I don't want to be the idiot wearing short sleeves in rainy weather or long sleeves in 100 degree weather. (even though that's usually the case)

dresses or skirts

I don't really wear either too much but I like skirts way better because its far more versatile. You can pair with casual Tshirts for a laid back looks or dress it up.

stripes or plaid

The best time to wear a striped sweater is allll the timee! Enough said.

flip flops or sandals

Sandals. But I always wear flip flops to the beach or pool since its way easier.

scarves or hats

   Scarves. I rarely wear hats.

studs or dangly earrings

Ok, I used to be obssessed with and wear dangly earrings all the time last year but now, I mostly wear just studs. Or I don't wear earrings at all.

necklaces or bracelets

I think necklaces, since they really can change up your outfit .
heels or flats

I like the look of heels, but I am the most clumsiest person, so in order to avoid drastic injuries I wear flats.

cowboy boots or riding boots

Sadly, I don't own cowboy boots even though I really want a pair. But I wear my riding boots quite a lot in the fall time.

jacket or hoodie

Hoodies are 100x more comfortable and warm

forever 21 or charlotte russe

I usually go to Forever 21 and find more clothes there, but I also like some of the stuff at Charlotte Russe.

abercombie or Hollister

Neither. IF you guys have heard about what the CEO of that comapny said, you';ll understand. But even before that controversy I never like those brands much.

saks 5th or nordstrom

Nordstroms. They're both pretty pricey, but Nordstroms has really cute clothes and the Nordstroms Cafe is soo good!

HAIR:
curly or straight
Unfortunately, I have stick straight hair that won't really do anything. It can barely hold a curl. :(

bun or ponytail

Ponytails are so much easier so I'll wear that more often, but if I had more time on my hands, I'd rock the sock bun everyday.

bobby pins or butterfly clips

Bobby Pins. What are butterfly clips? I don't think I want to clip butterflies in my hair.

hair spray or gel

Hair spray is a good movie. ;)

long or short

I have medium length hair and I'm trying to grow it out more, but if I could pull it off, I'd have short hair since it looks so much easier.

side sweep bangs or full bangs

Side sweep bangs. I haven't had full bangs since second grade and I don't miss it.

up or down

My hair is usually down and I like it better that way. Unless I'm having a bad hair day, my hair is down. (but Up is a good, and sad movie)

RANDOM:
Rain or shine
I love rain since it smells good and I just like the feeling of rain but I also like to be warm. Good thing weather is bipolar where I live so I can have the best of both worlds.

Summer or winter

I like winter since everyone is happy during the holidays and I like dressing warmly and Christmas is my most favoritest (that's a word) holiday ever! But there's no school in the summer!

Fall or spring

Fall is pretty and dandy but thats when school starts so I'd have to say spring.

Chocolate or vanilla

This is like asking me to choose between having legs or arms. I can't survive without either!

East coast or west coast

The East Coast is where most of my family lives and I like snow and just the different ambience over there but the West Coast is always warm and its mostly clean there's beaches and idkk this is a hard decision too.

Lush & Kiehl's Haul!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! :)
tODAY I wanted to show you all some skincare/beauty stuff I got from Lush and Kiehl's. I was so happy to be back in Lush since I had not been there since September? Or December?
Anyways click these links right hurr to see my haul and pictures from then ---> http://wonderstruckhappiness.blogspot.com/2013/01/lush-haul.html             http://wonderstruckhappiness.blogspot.com/2012/12/my-first-time-at-lush.html

FROM LUSH:

Karna Kream- hand and body lotion ($28.95)
It is pretty moisturizing and feels very light on the skin, which is nice because I hate the feeling of super heavy/thick products on skin.  This lotion has a pleasant simple scent that has a sort of orange-y smell to it. It's not too overpowering or strong, its just slight and light. :) A bit on the pricier side but I think it is worth it.   **4/5 Stars**

 Ayesha- fresh face mask ($6.95)
Yes, yes, I know the picture of the product is so not appealing but we kind of had in in the car on a warm day for a couple hours... (oops) Anyways, i unfortunately have not had the time to try it out yet, but I'm excited to because it promises to "brighten dull spots" and "transformed into bright, glowing skin." As soon as I try this product out, I will do a review!

None of Your Beeswax- vegan lip balm ($7.25)
I actually went into the store looking for a lip scrub. The Lush people are very friendly and helpful so they  let me try out the lip scrub. I believe I used the mint Julips one; it was definitely tasty, but just wasn't as good for my lips as I'd hoped. They also let me use the lip balm afterwards so i tried out Lip Service which I liked; it was very moisturizing. unfortunately they only had the sample product of Lip Service so the cashier recommended None of Your Beeswax instead, saying they are pretty similar. So I got this one instead and I actually like it better than Lip Service. I use it pretty much every day over some Vaseline and ta-da! My lips are super smooth and great... And its vegan!  **5/5**

  FROM KIEHL'S:

Creme de Corps- Soy Milk and Honey Whipped Body Butter ($38)
The saleslady recommended this to me because I was looking for a good body butter. (I went to Kiehl's before Lush) The texture of this feels really nice since it is whipped, and feels light and cool on your skin. It is pretty moisturizing, about the same abilities as the one from Lush( maybe a little longer lasting since it is a body butter). The only problem I have with it is the smell. I actually really liked the scent at first, it has a nice almost vanilla ice cream scent, but it later grew to be too strong and overpowering. Also it is a bit overpriced...  **3.5/5**

Creme de Corps- Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish ($30)
This is from the same collection as the body butter above, same scent, but it is a polish for your skin. It is basically an exfoliater that gets rid of all your dry and dead skin. This works pretty well, I use it on my dry elbows and knees/legs, and I've already noticed a difference. It does what it says and I use it almost every day in the shower. Surprisingly, It does not that the soy milk and honey (the vanilla ice cream) scent of the body butter, which I am glad of. It actually doesn't really have a scent, at least not that I've noticed.  **4/5**

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this quick haul/review! :)
