Fall Beauty Trends 2013
Hey there! So today I am following up on fall fashion trends post I did last week. Today will be all about the beauty trends of fall, from hair to makeup! Hope you enjoy...
1. BRAIDS- This classic hair style is very big for this fall. It can range from classy updos to intricate fishtails and much more. I think braids are a great go to hairstyle since they can really jazz up any outfit or makeup.
2. BOLD EYES- A makeup trend that will be very popular is the whole bold eye look. Something that is very eye catching. Cat eyes and autumn hued eyeshadow has been all over the runways. The eyeshadow is usually a burnt orangeish color, very similar to falling autumn leaves.

3. OXBLOOD/DARK HUED LIPS - And of course, what would fall be without dark lips? This signature makeup look of autumn days are everlasting-ly popular. Especially when paired with a smokey fall eyeshadow, like mentioned above.

Fall Fashion Trends 2013
Hi everyone! :)
I thought I'd kick off the first day of September with this post all about fall trends, even though it feels nothing like fall right now (its about 98 degrees out). Fall signifies cozy sweaters, yummy hot drinks, fun holidays, and just overall comfort. There's nothing better (maybe winter, but thats another post) than autumn leaves and pumpkin spice lattes, all signs of fall.
So here you go! Some fall fashion trends I hope you find helpful. P.S. I will be doing a separate post for fall beauty trends next week!
1. Emerald Green -Jewel tones are kind of a must for those cooler fall days, and the striking emerald green is huge for this fall. I've always really liked this color and am super excited to incorporate it into my fall ensemble. I think emerald green (or any jewel tones) just exude classiness and fall.
2. Oversized coats- Perfect for keeping warm and up to trend, this look has been everywhere on the runways. Basically all about oversized coats that are loose with bold shoulders and preferably menswear looking. Plus, it is very cozy and comfortable without giving too much effort.
3. Texture, Texture, Texture- Leather and velvet are both very big for this fall, especially in the classical jewel tones. I think this trend is great because leather or velvet can really step up any outfit from blah to boom. :)
5. Winter White- This usually very basic color reminiscent of winter snow is growing quickly as a popular color on the runways just on its own. It is very versatile and effortless while still being fashionable. Also, I think it'd look great with a hint or pop of a jewel tone-killing two birds with one stone. ;P

Summer Collective/Back 2 School HAUL
Hello everyone! So now its nearing that much dreaded time of the year... when summer is coming to an end and the back to school season is starting. But what I do enjoy about back to school is shopping! So this haul I will be showing you my back to school clothing and some of the clothes I have bought over the entire course of the summer, from wholesale markets to F21 to birthday gifts.
WHOLESALE MARKET ITEMS:
~Pinkish colored crop top with a rather too big cutout in the back, but its good for those hot summer days. The only thing I do not like about this top is that the collar can feel a bit too tight sometimes. $5
~Light wash denim vest with a detachable hood. I think this is a great piece for layering, especially in the autumn/ winter. $10

~Crochet flower crop top. It is slightly see through but made of a good thick durable material. $5
~Tribal? print crop top with a sheer material. The print actually reminds me of a pair of shorts I bought at the the wholesale market at the beginning of the year, which you can see here. $5
~Striped crop tee. I love this top but its a tad too cropped for me. If it was slightly longer it would be more wearable, especially for school. $6
~Just a simple beige colored cardigan, a good basic for the cooler days for layering. $5
~This top reminds me of ombre cotton candy and summer fairs with how the pink and mint just fade into each other. The back of this top is pretty interesting it is twisted, opening into a cutout. (Brand: Sweet Claire) $0
~These black shorts are really really high waisted, kind of too highwaisted for me, but they were part of a good deal soooo... $5
~A regular tan/beige colored maxi skirt for pairng with virant crop tops. $5
~A pretty sky blue (the picture doesn't do the color justice) high waisted shorts that I've already worn with quite a few items proudly. $10
~Another pair of highwaisted black shorts, similar top the other pair earlier but these are the perfect amount of high waistededness? ;P length? I am not sure the word for how high the shorts go up. Anyways, I like these way better than the other pair. It is also quite comfortable. $5
~Light wash high waist shorts from the same place the blue shorts were from. Also very comfortable and cute with everything. $10
BIRTHDAY GIFT:
~ I got this navy blue polka dot crop top from my aunt (Thanks Ba Bo!!!) for my bday and I love it! It is from Macy's if anyone was wondering.
G-STAGE:

They are not only high waisted and acid wash but have this really cool triangle cutouts on the end. $25?
FOREVER 21:
~Turquoise, black, and lilac floral skater skirt...really comfortable and cute! $8
~Grey acid wash denim vest $10?
