Lush Haul!!!

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to do a haul on a couple of Lush products I got for Christmas! These are my first ever Lush products so I was very excited to try them out. I first found out about Lush in the summer of last year I think and I'd always wanted to go to a store and try out their products and I finally went to a Lush store in November (which I blogged about)
Anyways, I got two Lush bath bars...which you basically just pop in the bathtub and it melts for a nice relaxing experience. I've only tried one so far and I loved it!  Its called the Butterball and its a small white ball that melts in the water and releases some kind of moisturizing buttery froth. It has a nice vanilla scent that is very relaxing. It was such a cool experience since it was my first time and when it melts, it fizzes and pops! there are also little chunks of cocoa butter that release when they melt. Here are some pictures...

The second bath bar I got was called the party popper I think? I'm not sure but its a colorful cone shaped bath bomb I have yet to try. I'm really excited to try it because the description says it releases some kind of confetti? Here's the description of the Party Popper I found on the website.

"This fruity, fizzy party piece is a movable feast of delights. Contains everything you need for a celebration in your own bathtub.
Drop a Party Popper cone in your bath and watch it spin into action, as it goes on a spree across your bath spreading colors, fragrance, popping candy and soap confetti.  Softening your bathwater, fragrancing your skin and washing you clean."
I don't have any pictures of the Party Popper since I haven't tried it yet but once I do I will definitely update ya'll!
Thanks for reading my blog and feel free to leave a comment or follow me!!

How to keep your New Years resolutons

Hey I want to start off by saying Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you have a happy, healthy, and successful 2013! ....So its that time of the year again when people excitedly make their ambitious New Years resolutions, keep it up for the first few days, then just stop. That's how I am, but this year I am promising to myself  I'm going to be better about it. So here are a few tips I've learned to keep your New Year's Resolutions...

1. Make reasonable goals.
Set resolutions for yourself you can actually reach. Don't be ridiculous about them, setting impossible goals. Set a goal you know you can actually reach. A lot of times the reason why people will just give up is because their resolution was too out there and impossible. Be reasonable with yourself. Its best to set small goals for yourself leading up to your larger resolution.

2. Reward yourself.
You can motivate yourself by rewarding yourself here and there a little bit. For example, if you're going on a diet, don't just stop eating sweets or treats altogether....Just a little here and there is fine as long as you keep on track with your healthy eating.

3. Surround yourself with people that can help you (with your goals)
If you're surroundning yourself with a bunch of people who eat bad all the time, how are you supposed to eat healtheier? Or if you surround yourself with people who are always lazy and never work out, won't it be difficult for you to work out more? When you're setting you goals surround yourself with people that will not only motivate you, but inspire and help you too, not bring you even more down.

4. Most importantly, don't give up.
A lot of times, people will just get too lazy or tired, and blow off their resolutions, thinkiing "Eh, next year." But that's probaly what they'll say the next year too, and the year after that. The best thing to do is  keep telling yourself you can do this and  think of how much better or happier you'll be if you reach your goal. So do not give up. You can do it!!

Let me know in the comments what your resolutions are for the new year!

I'm back!! :) Updates!!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been gone for so long... I was visting family for the holiday break... Speakimg of the holidays, how was yours? Hope everyone had a wonderful safe Christmas or whichever holiday you , may celebrate! I had a pretty good Christmas break but I feel like I didn't spend enough time with my family, who,  I only get to see once or twice a year. But I guess its better than nothing.
So I'm really excited because one of my favorite presents I got for Christmas was a pair of Doc Martens! Thank you soooo much Mom! They're getting shipped to me right now. I chose dark red, almost burgandy colored ones becasue I feel like they'll really add pop to any outfit and that oxblood color is really big this year. I promise I'll do a blog post about how to wear them, what they look best with, etc.once they get delivered to me.
I think that's one of my favorite presetns i got this year, other than the tablet from my dad (Thank you very much!) a music box playing Fearless, by Taylor Swift from my aunt and some cute clothes from my grandparents and aunt (Thanks so much and I miss you already!) I am so grateful for what I have received this year and really appreciate everything my family does for me.
