Day 2 Yosemite Travel Log!
Hey everyone... Today I will be sharing with you day 2 of my trip to Yosemite. Soo first thing in the morning we went on an early hike to a little waterfal. There were a lot of uphills and it was super sunny so it was a bit more difficult than we had anticipated. It took us probably 4 hours both ways .
We were pretty tired from that long hike so we decided to get lunch at this fancy hotel and rest. It was a really nice little restaurant with a great view of the mountains. The food was alright but I loved the Three Cheese French Onion Soup.:)
Once we were completely full and rested, we headed towards our second hike of the day at Mist Trails... I believe it was about 2.5 miles one way. It wasn't as bad as the first hike since it was mostly flat and in the shade, thankfully. The hike was so worth it, though, at the end was a huge waterfall, spritzing water everywhere. The best part was there was a rainbow, only about a few feet away from us!
And that was pretty much our eventful, busy day!!

Day 1 Yosemite Travel Log!
Day 1
The first day I had to wake up before the sun was even up for our long road trip. I was already dressed and packed for our long trip and my family and I were on our way to Yosemite, CA by 6:30. I sat in the back seat, ready for our 6 hour road trip, surrounded by plenty of blankets and my dog, Mochi, a little 4 pound Maltese. He snored next to me while I tried to take a nap. After an hour or so of driving we arrived at our first stop at Urth Cafe, which we had found on Yelp, for breakfast. I ordered some granola and a chai latte, both which were pretty average but made me full.
Back in the car we went after breakfast, continuing the long drive for a couple more hours until Bakersfield, where we found Sweet Surrender (also courtesy of Yelp). It was a really cute little sweet shop where we got some pastries and treats. They also sold accessories and clothing, which was actually pretty cute.
After that, we were in the car for a few more hours and finally arrived at Yosemite around 3. We stayed at a charming little hotel with a marvelous view of the rushing river and only 5 minutes away from all the main attractions of Yosemite. Since we got there a bit earlier than expected we decided to go on a small easy hike before sunset. It was mostly uphill since it was a trail to the waterfall and we only did it for an hour before heading back.
Exhausted from the long road trip and the hike, I had dinner, and relaxed in a bubble bath. I fell asleep pretty quickly that night; getting energized for the next day!

Hey Rachel here. I'm super excited because I am going to a family trip to Yosemite tommorow and will be taking plenty of pictures for you all! I will probably do some Outfit of the Days against the beautiful scenery and writing travel logs. A YouTube channel will also be coming up; where I will post more in depth videos on certain products or outfits; just where I can better talk to you guys. I just need to come up with a catchy and creative name... If you have any suggestions, please let me know! It would be a huge help.
Anyways, I made this super cute outfit kind of randomly. I don't even know how I thought of it; but I am glad I did because I really like it!!

Canon T4i Rebel Review
At first, it was super confusing what with all the buttons and settings, but once I got the hang of it, it was way better. Of course, there is still some stuff I don't understand, but it all takes time. So below I'll be listing the Pros and Cons of this camera and also some example pictures I took.
Pros:
- Takes really good quality pictures. The pictures always look so artsy and professional especially with the EF50mm f/1.8 ll lens. You may have seen these pictures before on my blog, but here are some samples!
- Another pro is how you can easily customize your camera settings So if you wanted the background to be blurred, or it to be B&W, want more light in the photo, auto or manual focus, or pretty much anything, its all possible!
- The video on this Canon is exemplary as well. It focuses so that the background of the main object is a bit blurred and can film for a while.
Cons:
- The price is a bit offsetting, but it is definitely worth it. I mean, you get what you pay for!
- The auto focus setting is a bit annoying since it is constantly focusing and when it does it makes an irritating clicking sound that you can hear in the videos.
- That's really all the cons I can think of now, but I will update you guys if there is anything else!
